Three Lakes Challenge
We are to become the first group (as far as we are aware) that has managed to traverse the three largest lakes in Great Britain (Loch Lomond in Scotland, Windermere in the Lake District, Lake Bala in Snowdonia) non-stop and consecutively.
And whats more, we can feasibly cycle between all three lakes in a relay, and complete the challenge in 48 hours, attaching road bikes to a custom-made water going craft traversing each lake then cycling to the next lake challenge!
For reference, Lomond is 39km long, Windemere is 19km and Bala is 6km. We aim to start at the top of Lomond, the total land cycling required is about 550 km. In summary, we are attempting a 565 km cycling challenge across land and water!
